Sermon on the Mound Spring Musical

Winning 3rd Place in the Derby

It has been a big weekend for Ethan. On Saturday, he participated in his first Pinewood Derby for Cub Scouts. He placed 3rd in the Tiger division and raced later in the day in the Pack division. He didn't place in the pack race but had a great time.

Today was the children's spring musical at church. It was "Sermon on the Mound" and the kids did a great job! In January when practices began, Ethan wasn't sure if he wanted to be in it. With encouragement from us and one of his buddies, he went for it. It was so cute! As you can see, it was a baseball theme. The kids even got to meet Gapper, one of the mascots for the Cincinnati Reds - very cool!
